This week’s episode of The Cornerstone Podcast is the presentation of an actual cornerstone laying ceremony performed under the auspices of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Georgia. It has been the custom of freemasons from time immemorial on invitation to assemble the craft and symbolically lay the cornerstones of public edifices. The video was recorded on March 7th, 2004 at the laying of the cornerstone for the community center of Big Bethel AME Church located on Auburn Avenue in Atlanta, Georgia.
